Held from December 12th to 14th, 2019, the event showcased the evolution of mobile gaming on a global stage, drawing the attention of millions of fans.

Group Stage:

The competition began with the Group Stage on December 12th and 13th, featuring 32 teams, split into two groups:

1. Group A: Comprised of 16 teams from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, highlighting the growing influence of this region in competitive gaming.
2. Group B: Included 16 global teams from various countries, representing the pinnacle of PUBG Mobile talent worldwide.
3. Each group played 4 matches, with the top 8 teams from each group advancing to the World Cup Finals.

Finals:

On December 14th, the Finals brought together the top 16 teams for a fierce showdown across 5 matches. Competing for a prize pool of $300,000 USD, these matches were filled with thrilling moments, intense strategies, and unforgettable gameplay that solidified PUBG Mobile’s place as a leader in mobile Esports.

My Role:

As the first Arabic content creator invited to cover this monumental event, I had the honor of representing the MENA gaming community on the global stage. I brought Arabic-speaking fans exclusive insights, behind-the-scenes footage, and comprehensive event coverage, bridging the gap between the regional audience and the international gaming scene. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase the growing passion for Esports in the Arab world and contribute to the event's success by delivering localized content that resonated with millions of fans.
