And since we mentioned previously the importance of photos in social media and how to  Create Images for Social Media and Blog.  Based on Kevan Lee article I’ve created a PSD template with Guidelines to follow so you can create ideal social media image sizes

The best sizes for sharing images on social media

In Kevan’s article he listed 6 ideal social media images sizes to be used

Facebook – 1,200 x 628
Twitter – 1,024 x 512
LinkedIn – 800 x 800
Google+ – 800 x 1,200
Pinterest – 735 x 1,102
Instagram – 1,200 x 1,200

I’ve added each size in a different layer, you can simply hide all layers and only view the layer of the social media image size you need, when you’re done you can simply crop/trim the photo and you will have you social media image ready to be used

Each layer has its own color that is some how related to the social media it represents
