World Cup Top peak moments on Twitter – TPM records breaking

Just couple of days Twitter announced a  new TPM records was broken  (Tweet / minute) during  #BRAvsGER with 580,166 tweets

Twitter also created an animated heat map  powered by CartoDB as a replay of #GER v #ARG game, showing tweets during the final game

 

35 million tweets were sent during Brazil vs Germany game, while only 32m tweets were sent during the final game as announced by @TwitterData
